1-year, 1.5-year, and 2-year programs are available according to level and purpose, from basic to advanced

Students will learn Japanese in classes suited to their objectives and Japanese language level, and will also aim to gain a broad understanding of Japan through a variety of events.
Applicants must have completed at least 12 years of school education. Applicants who wish to enroll with a college student visa must have studied Japanese for at least 150 hours or have passed the JLPT-N5 level or equivalent.

Courses

The One Year Basic Course and the One Year College Preparatory Course are one-year courses, but after completing the One Year Basic Course, students can move on to the One Year College Preparatory Course and study for two years. In this case, the examination fee and admission fee for the 1-year course are waived. 1.5-year course for October admission, from basic to advanced level.

Basic

Basic 1 year course

This course is designed to comprehensively study the four skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening at the beginner and intermediate levels of Japanese, and to acquire the communication skills necessary for daily life. The goal is to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3-N4. In addition to learning the Japanese language, there are various events throughout the year, such as extracurricular classes and exchange events, to help students gain a broader understanding of Japan, including Japanese culture and customs. After completing the one-year basic course, students can continue their studies in the one-year college preparatory course and acquire higher Japanese language skills in two years.

Intermediate and Advanced

Intermediate and Advanced 1 Year College Preparatory Course

This course is designed to comprehensively acquire intermediate and advanced level Japanese language skills and to acquire the Japanese language proficiency necessary to enter Japanese universities and other institutions of higher education and to find employment. The goal of this course is to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 – N2. After completing our basic course, students can continue to study in this course and learn Japanese for 2 years. Preparation classes for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) are also offered, and experienced instructors support students who wish to enter higher education so that they can make the most suitable entrance into higher education. In addition, students can participate in various events to learn more about Japan through extracurricular activities and social gatherings.

1.5 years

1.5 years of college preparatory course

The 1.5 Year College Preparatory Course (Elementary) aims to comprehensively acquire the Japanese language skills at the pri-intermediate level and to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3 or higher, while the 1.5 Year Preparatory Course (Intermediate) aims to comprehensively acquire the Japanese language skills at the upper-intermediate level and to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 or higher, thus enabling students to acquire the Japanese language skills necessary for entering higher education or employment in Japan. The course also provides preparatory classes for the JLPT and the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU), and experienced instructors support students who wish to enter higher education so that they can enter the appropriate higher education. In addition, students can participate in various events to learn more about Japan through extracurricular activities and social gatherings.
