Location

Mihara is located in the center of Hiroshima Prefecture in western Japan and is a town rich in nature with convenient access to transportation. Surrounded by the sea and mountains, and with the mild climate of the Seto Inland Sea, Mihara is a peaceful and comfortable place to live, not an urban area, but it is not inconvenient either.
The school is located near the mouth of a river called the Numata River and overlooks the Seto Inland Sea. It is a quiet and good environment for studying. And nearby there is a shopping mall, general hospital, city hall, home center, drug store, and everything necessary for daily life.
Hiroshima Airport is also located in the city, providing convenient access from overseas. It is a 40-minute limousine bus ride from Hiroshima Airport to Mihara Station. The Shinkansen bullet train stops at Mihara Station in addition to conventional trains, making it easy to come from Kansai Airport or Narita Airport by Shinkansen.
Student life is very busy with Japanese language studies and part-time jobs etc., but on weekends and holidays, a few dozen minutes by bicycle will take you to a beach facing the Seto Inland Sea, where you can refresh your mind. If you climb the Mount “Fudekage” on foot from the school, you can look out over the Seto Inland Sea and experience the beautiful scenery of its numerous islands.
Our school has a “Foreign Student Friendship Association” to support foreign students studying abroad. Our international students study in Mihara by communicating with people in the local community and learning about Japanese culture and customs, and after graduation, many of them go on to study at schools in major cities such as Tokyo and Osaka to pursue specialized studies. They seem to consider Mihara a second home, as it is their first place in Japan.
